Our Opinion
Cox Internet customers with moderate data needs should consider this plan only where Verizon coverage performs well. For $45 per month, it includes unlimited service with 20GB of high-speed data and 5GB of hotspot use.
The recorded package includes unlimited data (20GB high-speed), 5G, 5GB mobile hotspot, taxes included. Its 5GB hotspot allowance is useful only if that speed and amount match the way you tether.
Cox Internet is required, taxes are extra, and the 20GB high-speed allowance is modest for the price. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: it is a credible fit for the right usage pattern, but it is not an automatic best choice for everyone.
