Our Opinion
Moderate users comfortable with app-managed service should consider Helium Mobile Air where T-Mobile coverage is reliable. For $15 per month, the plan includes unlimited talk and text, 10GB of high-speed data, 5GB of hotspot use, and Cloud Points eligibility.
The recorded package includes unlimited talk and text, 10GB high-speed data, 5GB hotspot. Its 5GB hotspot allowance is useful only if that speed and amount match the way you tether.
Taxes are extra, AutoPay is required, and 10GB may not cover frequent streaming or other heavy cellular use. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: it is a credible fit for the right usage pattern, but it is not an automatic best choice for everyone.
