Taxes are extra, and this premium price is difficult to justify unless AT&T works especially well locally and the large allowances will be used. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: it is a credible fit for the right usage pattern, but it is not an automatic best choice for everyone.
