Our Opinion
Google Fi Unlimited Premium is SaveOnPhone's recommendation for frequent international travelers who also have dependable local T-Mobile coverage. We pick Google Fi Unlimited Premium for travelers with dependable local T-Mobile coverage because its $65 monthly plan includes 100GB of high-speed data, 50GB of hotspot use, and data service in more than 200 countries.
The recorded package includes unlimited data (100GB premium), 50GB hotspot, international data in 200+ countries, 6mo YouTube Premium, and 2 more listed features. Its 50GB hotspot allowance is useful only if that speed and amount match the way you tether.
The $65 price excludes taxes, video is limited to 480p, and the advertised promotion expired before this review date. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: it is a credible fit for the right usage pattern, but it is not an automatic best choice for everyone.
