Our Opinion
Existing Optimum Internet customers with reliable local T-Mobile coverage should consider this plan only for extremely light cellular use. The $15 monthly plan supplies unlimited talk and text with 1GB of data on a month-to-month basis.
The recorded package includes unlimited talk and text, 1GB data, autoPay and paperless billing required.
One gigabyte is highly restrictive, taxes cost extra, and customers without qualifying Optimum Internet may pay a surcharge. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: this can save real money for a disciplined light user, but it leaves little room for surprise data use.
