Our Opinion
Customers age 55 or older who want direct T-Mobile service and have strong local coverage should consider this plan. For $50 per month, it includes unlimited service, 50GB of premium data, 5G access, Scam Shield Premium, and unlimited hotspot use at 3G speeds.
The recorded package includes 5G access, scam Shield Premium, 50GB premium data, for customers 55+, and 2 more listed features. Its Unlimited at max 3G speeds hotspot allowance is useful only if that speed and amount match the way you tether.
Eligibility starts at age 55, taxes cost extra, video is limited to 480p, and hotspot speeds are slow. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: it is a credible fit for the right usage pattern, but it is not an automatic best choice for everyone.
