Our Opinion
This is SaveOnPhone's recommendation for budget unlimited service for light-data users who can prepay and have dependable local coverage on one of its three networks. We pick US Mobile Unlimited Flex where one of its three available networks performs well locally because $17.50 per month including taxes is unusually economical, but it requires a full year upfront and provides only 10GB of high-speed data and 5GB of hotspot use.
The recorded package includes unlimited data (10GB high-speed, then throttled), 5GB hotspot, 5G, annual plan only, and 1 more listed feature. Its 5GB hotspot allowance is useful only if that speed and amount match the way you tether.
The plan is available only with annual prepayment and throttles phone data after 10GB. Compare the carrier's current checkout terms and test local coverage before transferring every line.
Bottom line: we would put this on a budget-unlimited shortlist if your selected network is reliable in your area.
